Careers Guidance Galway, service review during Covid 19

1. What prompted you to seek Careers Guidance Galway services? What situation or problem did you need to solve?

So pre Covid there were changes as in new regulations coming into my work. These new changes coming in unfortunately meant that my qualifications would not meet the new regulations, so I was at a crossroads in my career. With work I was too busy did not have the time to think about it but Covid gave me time to think about the future and then I found Delia.

2. What are the two most significant improvements that have resulted from your work with Delia @Careers Guidance Galway?

Clarity – Delia helped me by asking the right questions that made me think about what I really want and where I would be happiest in the future.

Delia also gave moral support and confirmation that I was making the right decisions.

3. If a potential client was on the fence about whether to work with Careers Guidance Galway or not, what would you say to them?

I would say do it what are you waiting for and what have you got to lose. Delia is so lovely, helpful, and encouraging she really put me at ease.

4. Did the Zoom meeting format hinder the Guidance process in any way.

I thought it helped because I had no excuses not to attend meetings as I had no place to go. And zoom was very focused cuts out the waffle and it follows a clear logical process which I liked.
