I chose to be a Careers Guidance Counsellor in 1993. Having completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at N.U.I.G.  I realised I had not considered life post third level education and that effective careers guidance had been lacking in my education, I committed to becoming an expert in Careers Education and Guidance, to enable others to maximise on their educational opportunities and to be driven and motivated by  a career goal. I have since enjoyed over 20 years of working with people of all ages in a guidance capacity. Initially qualifying in 1996 I continue my professional development with regular studies.  I thoroughly enjoy my work— and I look forward to helping you find the career that you are equally passionate about!

At Careers Guidance Counsellor, Galway, I understand that there are many difficulties in achieving your true aspirations. The first step is to identify your wants and needs and then to acknowledge the barriers that need to be overcome. I provide a safe confidential space where all the factors can be explored, with sensitively and without prejudice. Since 1995 I have been helping individuals to realise their true potential and to make well informed and realisitic career plans.
