Parents and students, especially this years Leaving certs, are breathing a sigh of relief this week. Its been a long and bumpy road these last few years! Looking t
o the -not so distant -future here is some of the key dates associated with the CAO college offers.
Leaving certificate results will be issued 2nd September 2022.
Round A:Offer Date: 7th July, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 13th July, 2022 by 15:00In early July a small number of offers of places may be issued to applicants such as:
deferred applicant
mature applicants
applicants who have completed an Access course
those who need to make visa arrangements before taking a place
Round Zero:Offer Date: 5th August, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 10th August, 2022 by 15:00In early August there will be an issue of offers of places which go to certain categories of applicant who are not competing with those awaiting 2022 examination results or who are assessed on other criteria, i.e. graduate entry medicine applicants, additional mature, deferred and Access applicants and applicants presenting QQI FET/FETAC (2002-2022) for consideration for entry to courses with a quota for QQI FET/FETAC applicants may also be included at this stage. Many courses have an entry route for applicants
presenting QQI/FET but do not have a specific quota. These courses will be offering places in Round One.
Round One:Offer Date: 8th September, 2022 from 14:00Reply Date: 14th September, 2022 by 15:00Issue of main body of offers take place after Irish Leaving Certificate Examination results become available.
Round Two:Offer Date: 19th September, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 21st September, 2022 by 15:00
Round Three:Offer Date: 27th September, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 29th September, 2022 by 15:00
Round Four:Offer Date: 4th October, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 6th October, 2022 by 15:00
Round Five:Offer Date: 11th October, 2022 from 10:00Reply Date: 13th October, 2022 by 15:00
